Dr Kerma Moore, DVM, graduated from LSU vet school in 1995. Previously having trained horses and volunteering at the Lebanon, Missouri Humane Society, she has been involved with animals all of her life. Until two years ago she ran her own mobile equine practice. Since then she worked at a full service small animal clinic and did volunteer work at area animal shelters.

Dr Moore took in an abandoned cat, named Calli, in 1990. Calli still resides with her and has inspired her love of cats. Calli's abandonment and subsequent rescue gave Dr. Moore feelings of responsibility toward the feline population. She hopes to prevent the same fate from happening to thousands of other cats whose only crime is being unwanted by their people who should love and protect them. Calli is her true inspiration for opening this clinic!
